System Background: We recently switched to a "remote environment" for our 18 machine, 2 location business. We run terminal services off of a centralized server and use remote desktop to access the remote programs on our individual machines.

Problem: We use gmail as our email provider but actually work using Outlook (via imap or pop3). I added google calendar sync to our remote application list, but it does not seem to work unless we are actually physically logged into the server and have outlook open. If I simply have a remote copy of outlook open on my local computer (via an .rdp file) it will not sync. You cannot leave outlook open on the server and still access it using the .rdp file it seems.

Is there a way to work around this syncronization issue?
