In perusing Microsoft Hyper-V forums recently, someone asked whether or not SCCM and SCOM should be virtualized and, if so, should they run on the same virtual machine. I run both SCCM and SCOM in virtual machines in my organization and have never looked back. That said, both run inside separate virtual machines. Finally, I repeat guidance I've given before - virtualize everything in sight!
