What is difference between

Simple 2008 Cluster & Live Migration

Simple 2008 Cluster with 2 nodes &  Host to Host Cluster in Hyper V !

Usman,

I'm not sure I fully understand the question, but let me take a stab at it. If you're working on getting to a place where you can use Live Migration, you have to first have some kind of a cluster in place. So, this is a sort of chicken and egg... without a cluster with multiple Hyper-V server members, you can't initiate a Live Migration process.

So, it seems like the answer is that you can't really compare Clustering and Live Migration since without one, the other won't work.
