All -

I've love to get some feedback on this story. It's only part 1, but was a fascinating session at VMworld and really opened eyes about what VDI can do.

What do you think about the possibilities as they relate to VDI?

Right now we are running RDS from Microsoft and is working... but maybe a more complex VDI solution can offer much more. Our RDS is just for one application that runs Client-Server.

Maybe on the second article i can figure out how VDI can help me to maximize the environment and stop using RDS...

Any chance you've played with Windows Server 2008 R2's RemoteFX?

Excellent plan! I've read some good things about RemoteFX. In one article, the author claimed that video playback with RemoteFX matched a local experience. I'd need to see it to believe it! I have a server at home that is a good candidate... sounds like it's time for a video upgrade!

That RemoteFX stuff from MS sounds great... i think we gonna give a try after start thinking about a migration from RDP to something else...
