If you’re switching from Lotus Notes to Outlook, you must convert NSF to PST format. You have two ways to accomplish this task; you can either choose manual solution or third party solution. I would suggest you to use manual procedure and when it comes completely free then why to go for third party paid solution. See the below mentioned procedure to convert NSF to PST format.
First, export Lotus Notes email messages,
And then import data to Outlook.
Procedure 1:(See the below section to understand about how to export Lotus Notes email messages)
Step 1: Launch Lotus Notes application
Step 2: Hit the Open button to open the NSF database file
Step 3: Go through File option and Click Export tab
Step 4: A Export wizard will appear. Choose Save as type and select either Comma Separated Value.
Step 5: Finally, click the Export button.
Step 5: If you select Comma Separated Value, Select the options and click OK
Procedure 2: (See the below section to Import data to Outlook)
Step 1: Start Outlook
Step 2: Go through File menu >> Open >> Click Import option in the list.
Step 3: A Import and Export Wizard screen will appear, select Import from another program or file in the option.
Step 4: Hit the Next
Step 5: Choose the format to import from. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) and then click Next
Step 6: Browse the file which you want to import and hit the next button
Step 6: Choose a location to save folder
Step 7: At the end, click Finish.
Hence you can easily export the Lotus Notes database to Outlook. But if you want to go through any easy procedure then you can choose some reliable third party tool to convert NSF to PST format with ease.
